It is with sadness that we learned of the passing our own international legend, Acker Bilk. I know I speak for all our members, and wider community, in sending our sincere condolences to Jean and all of Acker’s family at this sad time.
Much will be said of Acker’s illustrious music and entertainment career in the weeks and months to come. To us he was the funny, helpful and supportive member of our community who was always willing to help in fundraising and community music events , especially the successful Pensford Music Festival. We will miss him.
